The Cannabinoid Signaling Group belongs to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology I at the Schools of Chemistry and Biology, Complutense University, Madrid, Spain. The group is coordinated by Manuel Guzmán. Nowadays, Ismael Galve-Roperh, Cristina Sánchez and Guillermo Velasco coordinate three of the ongoing research lines in our group.

Currently, the major focus of our group is the study of the mechanisms by which cannabinoids – the active components of Cannabis sativa L. – and their endogenous counterparts control the proliferation, differentiation and survival of different types of cells.
